Frequently Asked Questions
Answers to Your Most Common Questions
In the world of elite admissions, information is the most valuable asset you can have. I’ve compiled the most common questions families ask about our strategic roadmap and advocacy services. If you don’t see what you’re looking for, I invite you to reach out directly for a more personal conversation.
Do you help with college essays?
Yes! Essays are a critical part of the application. I help students brainstorm unique topics and review their drafts to ensure their best work is submitted. To maintain high ethical standards and authenticity, I do not write the essays for the student; the final product must be their own voice.
What are your qualifications?
I have over 20 years experience as an Admissions and Enrollment Management professional. I graduated with a Masters of Science in Education with a concentration in School Counseling from Long Island University- Hudson Campus in Westchester County, NY. I completed the Independent Educational Consultant Certificate program from UC Irvine. I serve as a virtual College Coach for ScholarMatch, a national non profit organization, that assists first generation students through the College Admissions process.
Will my student work with anyone else?
No. When you hire me, you get my full 20+ years of expertise. I don’t pass my students off to less experienced staff. I only take on a small number of clients each year so I can remain highly accessible and personal for every family.
How will you keep my student on track?
I meet with my clients one-on-one to break the process down into manageable steps. By assigning specific tasks and reviewing them in our meetings, I make sure we stay ahead of deadlines and avoid the last-minute stress.
How often do we meet?
My meeting schedule depends on your student’s needs and grade level. Generally, I am available to meet with Seniors weekly, Juniors every other week, and Freshmen or Sophomores once a month. Outside of these meetings, my partnership clients have direct access to me via text and email.
