Kimberly A. Johnson, MS.Ed., IEC, is a seasoned Admissions and Enrollment Management professional with over 20 years of experience across the higher education and non-profit sectors. As the founder of Carrington Services, LLC, Kimberly brings a wealth of “inside-the-room” knowledge to students and families navigating the competitive landscapes of boarding schools, independent day schools, and colleges.
A proud product of the NYC public school system and a CUNY graduate, Kimberly’s mission is deeply personal. She understands that the path to higher education can be daunting, and she has dedicated her career to being a fierce advocate for every student she serves. Her goal is simple: to ensure that every student has the tools, the confidence, and the strategy to not only get into their dream school but to thrive there.
Carrington Services, LLC, is named in honor of Kimberly’s grandparents, Frank and Christina Carrington, who came from humble beginnings but worked so hard and made so many sacrifices, to provide an education for Kimberly’s mother, Barbara, Kimberly and all of the children in the Carrington Family. Kimberly will continue the legacy of helping young people as they strive to navigate the college admissions journey and ultimately choose a school that best fits their educational, social, professional and financial goals for the student and their family.
